Traction Control Still Worries NASCAR
NASCAR officials, worried about the growing perception that traction control is widespread on the Winston Cup and Busch tours, are considering mandating specific NASCAR-approved ignition boxes, to protect against the use of traction control. The ignition boxes could be handed out by NASCAR just like restrictor plates. The sanctioning body is looking for comments from crew chiefs. (Journal Now)(7-21-02)
