M&M's has been a NASCAR race team sponsor for a number of years. The candies have evolved to characters known as the minis. The yellow mini is named yellow. IN 2003 Elliott Sadler drove the Yates Ford Taurus sporting the minis. Yellow usually rides on the back of the race car Talladega Speedway saw Elliott Sadler get into a terrible wreck.  Elliott and the minis, as a result of this wreck, flew through the air, landed on their roof and then flipped several times. Obviously the stress of NASCAR racing has taken its' toll on Yellow.
