- The cartoon has to do with the events in the Pocono 500 on June 13th..
- In the cartoon are the wrecked body parts of Kevin Harvick and Matt
Kenseth.
- In the closing laps of the race, Harvick passed Kenseth and
slid
up in front of him with very little room to spare. Kenseth pushed
Harvick's car along the straight practically lifting the rear wheels off
of the ground. He then cut back under Kevin to regain the spot. Kevin did
not seem to appreciate Matt's method of passing. As the final caution
flag flew, Kevin caught Matt and spun him into the infield.
Kenseth was not to be outdone. After regaining control of the #17 he
caught Harvick and spun the #29. After a meeting with NASCAR, both
drivers were put to the end of the lead lap. Both drivers were
also assessed hefty fines.
- Matt Kenseth is actually known to be a quiet guy. When temper
tantrums are the subject, it is Tony Stewart's name that usually comes
up. In the cartoon, Matt's car owner, Jack Roush is asking advice
from Joe Gibbs, Stewart's car owner.
