• The title is "NASCAR 101- Simple Math".  On 2/17/03 the first cartoon using the title "NASCAR 101" was posted.  It featured our famous teacher and his chalks board.  The second "NASCAR 101" cartoon was titled "Drivers Ed".  This is the third of the series.
  • I always hated Greatest Common Factor Problems in school.
  • The car numbers are famous driver combinations
    • 42, 43 is Lee and Richard Petty
    • 43, 42 is Richard and Kyle Petty
    • 12, 28 is Bobby and Davey Allison
    • 42, 45 is Kyle and Adam Petty.  Kyle is truly one of the good guys of racing.  In Adam's memory he has opened the Victory Junction Gang Camp. Adam was an up and rising star, and possessed that famous "Petty" smile. ( Imagine having a smile named after you; that is how nice the Petty's are!)  They both were a must for this list.
    • 11, 88  is Ned and Dale Jarrett
    • 3, 8  is  Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr.
    • 8, 3   is Ralph Earnhardt and Dale Sr.
    • 14, 40 is Coo Coo Marlin and Sterlin
  • One of my favorite drivers, Buddy Baker, and his father are not on the list.  The reason is that they drove and won in several different cars so the numbers would not easily identify them. I am not sure, but I think Buck Baker won with more different numbers then any other driver.
