1.5 Weight Tolerances:  None
  • No other weight tolerances allowed

 
1.6 Weight Adjustments    
 
 

  • Three link rear Add 50 lbs. all Chassis
  • Lower trailing arm must connect to chassis to stock mount in stock location
    • All  Chassis Add 25 lbs for altered front mount
    • Max trailing arm length 28.00 inches eye to eye.
  • All links including Upper link must be tubular with spherical rod ends or stock
    • No springs, rubbers or other design allowed.
       
  • Rear Shelf  Metric (A/B S)  All Metric Chassis had a shelf therefore are to apply shelf rule including S.
    • There is no penalty of removing or altering the rear shelf
    • Please note: removal of the shelf alters the rear clip strength.  A tie in replacement tubing that runs from side to side in place of the shelf is recommended..
       
  • Aluminum Heads ( Claimer or 603)
    • Add 20 lbs per frame rail as specified in the engine section (5)
       
  • Carburetor
    • 2bbl 4412 deduct 25 lbs if original motor eligible for 4bbl  (Option 1 & 2 & Claimer)
       
  • Tread width - See Section 12 for specification)
    • Over specification for Chassis add 20 lbs per inch or 5 lbs per 1/4 inch
